It was snapped somewhere in his hometown of Catonsville, MD where this very rare Black Squirrel had been spotted. You can imagine the patience that was required to get this on film. After hours of waiting these two friends showed up to sample the nuts. Bill laughs, "This shot was a challenge. Seems everytime I went out near the woodpile to sneak a photo the squirrels would take off running. The nice lady who had reported the rarity, graciously invited me in out of the cold and brewed me a cup of hot tea as I put on a 250mm telescopic lens.
