Klender who has spent a lifetime capturing award-winning images. The timeless photo of the golden Parcithea was taken 30 years ago after a large snow storm that blanketed Maryland. Bill adds, "We used to get some beautiful snow storms in Maryland. It was always interesting to drive around after a big storm and see what looked different and exciting. I remember this was a year when the flowers had already bloomed before an unexpected Spring snow. You just never know how nature will rear up. I guess that's what makes it such a treasure to shoot."
