Story of this photo: This colorful scene was captured by nature photographer Richard Klender on a windy October afternoon above Bishop, CA. Richard adds, "The entire ground around me was just covered in falling Aspen leaves. Most had a vibrant yellow color like this which provided an interesting opportunity to frame in on the tall grasses and grab this shot. I enjoy getting in close to my subjects.
